This piece is very true to it's picture very defined. The cup itself is of fine quality as well. The story behind it was beautiful to read. When I look at it, it will take me back to the first time that I saw and read the story. Glad I took the time to purchase. No regrets!
Cornwall in south west England was home to one of Europe's largest mining industries in the 19th century; tin was a very important mineral. The remains of mine workings dot the countryside, such as here on Bodmin Moor. These are the ruins of the Prince of Wales engine house, once part of the Phoenix United Mine near Minions.
