Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

About Tom Winfield
Thomas “Tom” Winfield is a life long photography enthusiast. He won blue ribbons for photography in 4-H. Serving in the Army as a Chaplain Assistant, he always packed a camera. Tom earned a degree in electrical engineering from Case Institute of Technology. He was employed by Electro-Motive Division of General Motors as a Service Engineer until his retirement in 2002. His photography skills were invaluable in documenting equipment failures. In the early 70s, Tom served the Veterans of Foreign Wars as Department of New Hampshire photographer.
