Kelly, Thank you for taking time to look over my art. I'm very glad you have enjoyed it and it is nice to know someone else sees the energy! Many of my paintings are about the movement and color of energy.

Wow, Tonya, I have seen these little balls of energy too! Kudos to you for trying to paint them. It makes for a very interesting painting! Any painting that produces thought is noteworthy! I love this one!

Hi Sean, This piece is one of the ones I have at the Flint Institute of Art Exhibit - the theme of the show is Reality and Duality. Sometimes when the light is right, I see what looks like small balls of light that are in motion. Like a moving flashlight in the dark leaving what appears to be a trail of light behind it as is moves, these small balls also leave a trail. This paintings texture comes from my attempting to show you what that looks like to me. There is much more to it than this of course, due to how our eyes percieve things, like the intensity of them fades from your direct line of vision. This is more of what a camera might pick up, seeing the entire surface as focused and flat. There is also a depth that is missing. When I see them, they continue out, basically filling all the air, but again your eyes when focused on them, cause everything else to be out of focus. I have only met one other person that has told me that they see these tiny balls - I hope that by putting this out there that other people might pay closer attention and notice these balls of light as well. It is really interesting to watch the movement and also very beautiful.

Interesting texture. What is the significance of the swirls? My first impression was that you photographed a painting in bubble wrap. Also looks a bit like water drops on glass. Either way I like it because it makes you think.
