I purchased the shaggy angora goat on the wood mount for a gift for my neice. Loved how the wood grain comes through on the print. Excellent purchase! Would definitely purchase again.

This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Sometimes I guess you get lucky. There's one in my backyard right now, but lighting is poor.
Sean Griffin replied:
Lighting was the other lucky thing when I shot this. It was beautiful - the first break from clouds, rain, ice and snow in about 10 days!
Paul Mashburn
We have a beauty like that on the lake behind us, but I have yet to get a lens that will do an adequate job. Great shot!
Sean Griffin replied:
Thanks, Paul. In this case, it wasn't the power of the lens. I shot it at 135mm. The heron permitted me to very slowly approach to probably within 25 yards; then, I guess concluding I wasn't a threat, it strolled within about 10 yards of me.
Warren Thompson
Nice! Can you see the frog? Wonder how far north the blue herons travel?
Sean Griffin replied:
Thanks, Warren. The frog isn't in this photo, but you'll find the "after" shot here: http://fineartamerica.com/featured/frog-a-la-carte-sean-griffin.html . You'll find Great Blue Herons year-round from coastal Alaska clear into Mexico.

Beautiful Sean!
