beautiful, shimmering colors truly do reach beyond - reminds me of colors seen in meditation sessions that somehow achieve the effect of shades of pink and blue water being poured onto the canvas in one part of the painting. The dark paints used in this painting only serve to make the lighter blues and pinks stand out and do not make this a dark painting in any way to me. This painting is a lovely way to start any day - colors are somehow invigorating and comforting at the same time.
