A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!
Artist's Description
Stone age burial remains. Fossilised hand from a stone age (palaeolithic) burial site, showing evidence of a ceremonial burial. The hand is gripping a tool, and the area has been coloured with red ochre. This fossil was found in the Arene Candide cave in Liguria, Italy. It is thought to be around 18,500 years old. At this time, the inhabitants of the region were anatomically-modern Cro-Magnon humans (Homo sapiens sapiens). The Cro-Magnons lived in parts of Europe from around 50,000 years ago, and are famed for their cave painting and their creation and use of tools. They are considered to be the direct ancestors of modern humans.
