Description
When we left the house on The Isle of Lewis heading for Seilebost and Luskentyre beaches on The Isle of Harris, the weather was fine. We had been there less than an hour, when this storm suddenly blew in causing us to make tracks for the car in double quick time. We just got there in time to escape the rain! Captured with my Canon PowerShot S3 is camera. Unfortunately with standing in the sea, I got a drop of water on the lens and did not notice it, so the rest of my holiday photos were ruined. One lives and learns!

Everytime I see an image of ocean waves, I can actually hear them. Wonderful capture of the storm rolling in.
Kathryn Jones replied:
Thank you, Mary. I love the sound of waves on the shore and can hear them in my mind too.

F/L. Watching a storm approach over the ocean is exciting, even exhilarating - glad you stayed dry, however:>)

Thank you, Shoal. The weather was fine and sunny, when we set out and then this Atlantic storm blew up.

Thank you, Dee. I actually took that shot standing in the sea. Unfortunately I did not notice that a drop of spray had got on my camera lens, so all the photos that I took after that were ruined.

An excellent shot Kathryn - and well done for not getting wet!! Favourite
Kathryn Jones replied:
Thank you, Lesley. The rain tends to follow us whenever we go to the Western Isles.
