Artwork of a Spanish conquistador in full battle gear riding atop his magnificent animal. When the Indians of north America first encountered the Spanish (1500s)and their horses they thought they were one and the same (Two heads, six legs) this must have been a frightening sight to the natives who would suffer so from the coming of the Spanish to the new World. This is my attempt to portray what they must have thought at the first site of such a creature, signed by the artist
