Love it.
I love to paint scenes of McGill; warm memories for me and millions of local and international students who have called McGill home over the many years. I love to walk through Roddick Gates onto the campus along with this year`s group of eager students on their way to bold and bright future. Bookbags, briefcases and blues dominate my thoughts as I put brush to canvas. Using zinc and titanium whites with daubs of cobalt and ultramarine blues, I find the perfect suble mix which draws me into the Hall building. I add touches of yellow to represent the many windows. Lines of sepia build the structure of the buildings and outline the many detaills which create the mood that draws you into McGill and into our winter in the city.
