This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.
Artist's Description
Yellow sulphur deposits around vents on Mount Iwo, or Naked Mountain, Japan. Mount Iwo is a volcano in the Akan Volcanic Complex on the island of Hokkaido. Sulphur deposits are formed when hot sulphurous gases from the volcano condense and solidify when they meet the cooler air and rocks. The main gases involved are gaseous sulphur itself and hydrogen sulphide, which is oxidised by the air to sulphur and water. The mountain was once mined for sulphur.
