Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. I have loved photography since my grandmother gave me my first camera (a Brownie Hawkeye, which I still have) at the age of 15. I have been passionate about taking photos ever since. I have always done well in art since the first grade. I believe it is a God given gift. I started off drawing, then painting with oils. I went to acrylics as I became impatient waiting for the oils to dry. I was an emotional painter and my best was when I was inspired, so I painted fast. Later, I saw that I could capture the beauty of a moment by using my camera. People say that I can see what others don't. I am always seeing "a moment", wishing I had my camera with me all the time.
