This watercolor still life is bursting with color from all of the Mexican Talavera pottery and hand painted
tile around the kitchen window of the adobe residence. Sunshine is streaming in the window creating a few shadows on the awaiting dinner. The grilled fish is displayed on a platter with the typical Talavera pattern. Lemons adorn the fish dinner and are displayed in a beautiful ceramic bowl. The traditional Mexican bean pot with its' ladle sits on the wooden counter with bowls waiting to be filled. A hand embroidered yellow cloth or napkin finishes the bright and cheerful scene. This would make a wonderful addition to any kitchen, especially one with a Southwestern flair or the love of Mexican decor.
