I purchased the shaggy angora goat on the wood mount for a gift for my neice. Loved how the wood grain comes through on the print. Excellent purchase! Would definitely purchase again.

Artist's Description
My Texas Trumpeter Trio painting features hummingbirds feeding on a Creeping Trumpet Vine. The Creeping Trumpet vine (Campsis radicans), also known as trumpet creeper, is a fast-growing perennial vine. They are often found crawling up the trunks of the local coastal oaks in the Rockport, Texas, area. Their bright yellow and orange flowers are popular with hummers or hummingbirds.
The hummingbirds in this piece are a male Allen's (Selasphorus sasin)hummer in the foreground, a female Ruby Throated (Archilochus colubris) hummer in the middle ground who is busy dipping her beak into the trumpet flower and a male Ruby Throated hummingbird waiting his turn in the background. If you look closely you might see a small bit of yellow pollen on the Allen's beak as he has obviously been busy feasting on the nectar of these beautiful flowers.

About Sue Bonnar
Drawing and painting animals has always been my favorite choice in art and have been drawing since I was old enough to pick up a crayon. Art is part of what I do, not just something to do. I hold a degree in Commercial Art, worked in graphic and commercial art for several years, and studied Studio Art at the University of California, Riverside. My favorite subjects are animals, especially wild animals and birds. I have recently completed several hummingbird works and have been lucky enough to have my work selected for the Rockport-Fulton Hummer Bird Festival T-Shirt Art contest for 2014 and 2015. More recently my work titled "Catch of the Day" was selected for the 2016 Port Aransas Whooping Crane Festival T-Shirt art. I also enjoy...
