I loved the card. Message inside was perfect (just like I requested) Only comment - the picture seemed too large for the card (glue showing on the side) Next time I will down size the picture. I have ordered many cards from fineartamerica and have been very pleased with the artist selection and quality of the art. Paul Cutright

Artist's Description

The first angiogram. View of the first angiogram showing the hand's blood vessels. This was made in 1896 in Vienna soon after the discovery of X-rays. The angiogram is of the hand of a corpse, the blood vessels are clearly defined. Angiography is a branch of medical diagnostic X-ray photography. A chemical which is opaque to X-rays is injected into the blood vessels. This will make the blood vessels visible in the X-ray photograph. Angiography can be used to show narrowed coronary arteries and defective heart valves.
