This piece is very true to it's picture very defined. The cup itself is of fine quality as well. The story behind it was beautiful to read. When I look at it, it will take me back to the first time that I saw and read the story. Glad I took the time to purchase. No regrets!
Originally I took a photo at La Jolla of a painter painting in a corner with a rail. I changed the entire background to reflect the mood of what I had in mind a bit better. I used the app Inspire Pro on my iPad for painting with a stylus.
I have been a painter all my life so painting comes naturally. While I used to paint in oil and other mediums, I now find comfort in the simplicity and lack of waste and lack of toxicity of painting digitally.iPad paintings are wonderful printed on metal or acrylic, since most are smooth and without texture--though some of the newer apps now are able to create textures.
