About Acrylic Prints
Mounting Option #1
Mounting Option #2
Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of an acrylic print. Your image gets printed directly onto the back of a 1/4" thick sheet of clear acrylic.
The image is the art - it doesn't get any cleaner than that!
All acrylic prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with four aluminum mounting posts (Option #1) or hanging wire (Option #2).
The high gloss of the acrylic sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.
There are two different ways to mount your acrylic print.
Option #1 (Mounting Posts) - Attach your print to your wall with four aluminum mounting posts. The cylindrical cap of each mounting post can be removed, allowing you to thread a small screw along the center axis of the of post and into the wall. When you're finished, simply reattached each cap, and you're done. The mounting posts act as stand-offs and keep your print separated from the wall by 1". All of the required mounting hardware (i.e. posts, screws, and wall anchors) is included with your print. Click here for mounting details.
Option #2 (Hanging Wire) - With this option, your acrylic print is attached to a 1/4" thick black board which has a wooden frame and hanging wire attached to the back. There are no metal mounting posts at the corners. Simply put a nail in your wall, hang your print from the hanging wire, and you're done. Due to the thickness of the black board and mounting frame, your print is separated from the wall by 1.50" Click here for mounting details.

Artist's Description
Inspired by the lyrics of Paul Simon, one of the greatest songwriters of this, or any other generation.
THE BOXER
I am just a poor boy
Though my story's seldom told
I have squandered my resistance
For a pocketful of mumbles
Such are promises
All lies and jest
Still a man hears what he wants to hear
And disregards the rest
When I left my home and my family
I was no more than a boy
In the company of strangers
In the quiet of the railway station
Running scared
Laying low, seeking out the poorer quarters
Where the ragged people go
Looking for the places only they would know
Asking only workman's wages, I come looking for a job
But I get no offers
Just a come-on from the whores on 7th Avenue
I do declare, there were times when I was so lonesome
I took some comfort there,
Then I'm laying out my winter clothes
And wishing I was gone, going home
Where the New York City winters aren't bleeding me

i am overwhelmed, douglas, with your unique, 'fantastic'/truly it is/ process and this again, another. Kudos, so brave , unique, artistic! It stands on its own as YOUR expressionism! and (dare I say? Yes...) it resonates with the music/lyrics, though very personally, as is your ART so D&M. This Boxer, the story, exemplifies deep psychological concerns of your Heart/Soul : it is the ART ! in song! What an accomplishment, to bring both together, to say your truth, so minimal the art, so evocative, the Boxer........"singing your life with the song'/pictorially !..you honour your audience, Douglas! speechless, am I. FAV.

Thank you very much, VIVA! Your wonderful words and kind compliments are most appreciated by this man!
