My father owns the same truck its the same color and everything and it originally sat in grandfather's garage with a gravel driveway until we pulled it out and rescued it and this photo reminds me of that day cause the garage even looks the same too. I will eventually hang it on my wall im remodeling my living room and ima hang it on my wall when it's done to pay respect to my father who bought me my first home and someday he's leaving this truck to me to carry on its legacy.

These little outbuildings were all that remained of a lovely old farmhouse that stood just to the right, among the trees. Sadly, the outbuildings themselves are now gone as well. What stories old houses could tell. Just south of Damascus, Maryland, along Damascus Road.
Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence. I also love working completely freehand with no photo reference involved. All of which is allowing me to circle back to a semblance of my days of sketching and painting traditionally. This is beautiful Lois, and very much reminiscent of my area of Kansas. We live in a very rural area, and places like these are numerous. Farmers around here have a tendency to farm around such things in their fields, rather than tearing them down. Sure don't know why though.f/v

Don, thank you ... we share a love of this theme. Actually in this case, the house had already been ploughed under ... all that was left was an amazing pile of unrecognizable debris and these wonderful outbuildings ... and they are gone now, as well.
