Karen Cattel is a special artist and her whimsical art looks great on the two sturdy totes I purchased. One is a gift for a friend and the other is for me. I love them.

I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.
Behind London's Hotel Russell is a pub called, Friend at Hand. While planning our trip to the UK I believed this was the closest pub to our hotel so I wanted to see it. The pub is just to the left side of this frame but what caught my eye instead was this wonderful cobblestone street leading down a row of great old buildings. After college I worked in the photo-finishing business for many years as well as doing commercial photography. In the 80's I started to shoot only color for my artwork and never returned to the world of black & white - until 2014. I started converting my color digital images to black and white whenever I saw them as intended for bw. I believe the eye you started with does not go away. What an amazing shot, Glenn! My goodness, what a story in this image! I love it! :)))) L/F
Glenn DiPaola replied:
Thanks very much Sandi. Sometimes you stand in a place and you see it as it was and all the other details fade away. You see a story from another time. That doesn't happen nearly enough in life. I thrilled to have captured what I felt.
