A pair of California Quail (Callipepla californica) made a nest in the Honeysuckle bushes in our back yard, 14 babies hatched and within a week this is the only one that has survived. Every afternoon the parents and "Solo" cross our patio to pick up the bird seed that has fallen to the ground from the feeder, even though they are small they move very quickly and I was able to get this shot before it dashed under cover.
