This is a fantastic shower curtain. I owned at one time a 1928 American LaFrance almost identical to this one.Loved that fire engine and this great representation is such a joy as a reminder of the one I owned. Nee dmore like this one

Love this shower curtain! It’s brightened our guest bathroom beyond words. We were in Monet’s garden in 2005 and it brings a smile to my face every time I go in there.

This was our first purchase from the site and we love it! It arrived quickly. We wanted something different for the guest bath and this art combined two of my husband's favorite things. The curtain has a quality feel to it and the design is bright I wasn't sure of the color combination at first (orangey red, navy, turquoise and a touch of black) but it works! We've received many compliments and chuckles. My only regret was not being able to fit the words on without using a border - I was unsure of the colors, etc. Bottom line is that we love what we received!!! LOVE it!
The Prentis Store is one of the original 88 structures that can be seen in Colonial Williamsburg. Many of the buildings on the charming tree-lined streets have been meticulously reconstructed from the dirt up based on years of detailed archaeological research. But a few of the original buildings have survived the years and are still available for us to visit. The Prentis Store is located at the corner of the main thoroughfare, Duke of Gloucester Street and Colonial Street, in the heart of the restored area.
The Prentis Store began life as a retail business in 1739. It has served many functions over the years, but is now operating as a retail shop again, selling hand crafted, unique items, many made by Colonial Williamsburg's skilled tradespeople using 18th-century tools and techniques. The shop was one of the first properties purchased by the Colonial Williamsburg restoration group, which included John D. Rockefeller and W.A.R. Goodwin, in 1926.

Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence. I also love working completely freehand with no photo reference involved. All of which is allowing me to circle back to a semblance of my days of sketching and painting traditionally. Please be aware that we are currently experiencing a glitch in our system. The images in...

Wonderful capture of the Prentis Store. I live close to Colonial Williamsburg and visit often throughout the year. You were fortunate to capture it without tourists!
Lois Bryan replied:
A late thank you, Marilyn!! here's a little trick for you. Set up your tripod and take several shots ... then in Photoshop, just stack your exposures and clone out the tourists!! Easy peasy!!!
Lois Bryan replied:
wrong word ... not clone ... mask ... even easier!!! 😁
