This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks
Artist's Description
I've walked these wonderful dirt roads all of my life. Even as a child I loved them, seeing little critters here and there, maybe a frog or lizard, a snake if I was lucky, and always butterflies. As a child I was always barefooted, and these roads welcomed bare feet. We would build forts in the woods and play and, of course, climb the trees and when we would come upon a stream, we would always seem to want to build a little dam and then come home wet and muddy. I was so fortunate in that neither my mom nor my grandmother (Mammaw) ever cared how dirty, wet, or muddy I was when I came home. They would strip off my clothes, and send me straight to the tub or shower to get clean. With mom, I probably came out almost as dirty as I went in because she made the mistake of trusting me, but Mammaw would always come in the bathroom and scrub me from top to bottom to make sure I didn't get her sheets dirty. I must say, looking back, I was as blessed as a person could possibly be to have the c...
About Bill Chambers

I can vividly remember quail hunting with my dad when I was young, trudging along trying to keep up through thick cover on a freezing morning, and I still have great memories of bream fishing with my grandparents and enjoying with them that special time in late afternoon when everything grew still and quiet right before the crickets and frogs erupted into their beautiful night song. Those days are gone forever...
