The Writer's Cabin
We came across this picture perfect cabin near Eagle River and Copper Falls in the Keweenaw Peninsula. It made me think if the remote writer's cabin my dad was always dreaming of where he would be able to write his book. He never did find the right place to write, but this cabin would have enchanted him so I made it into a painting.

I am an illustrator, a storyteller, and a fine artist. I am happiest when I can be all three at once. I think illustration is a spectrum of storytelling genres and I like to think that each of works of art are little pieces of my own ongoing story.
