About Silvia Philippsohn
Born in Argentina, raised in Israel, immigrated to Canada in the early 80's. I am an avid artist who loves to explore various media and painting techniques. My passion for art has led me to experiment in other artistic fields such as graphic design, sculpture, pottery and jewellery design. Graduated from the Ottawa School of Art and attended numerous workshops and art classes throughout the years. A member of the Richmond Hill Group of Artists and carries on exploring my artistic talents through continuous art education. I participated in group and solo art shows. I paint because I can describe with vivid colours realistic sceneries of landscape, still life and floral. Painting and art for me is my meditation where I can submerge myself...
