I bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. The tuxedo cat painting was beautifully done. The blue and purple background was perfect to showcase the artist rendering of the cat.

This was a big hit as a gift. The recipients had taken a romantic picture in this locale And now they have a beautiful bag to take with them on their honeymoon.
Inventory #IMG-3285. This is a mesquite tree along the Salt River north of Mesa, Arizona. Somehow the roots of this tree have become uncovered - maybe by recent flooding? - and now the tree appears to be tiptoeing. Someone said it was dancing. Anyway, it's one of my favorite trees, and I always check on it when I'm in the area. It looks sort of fragile, but maybe not.
A photographer since the age of 8 when I received my first camera as a gift from my grandmother, I learned the art of photography by studying such current great artists as George Lepp, Dewitt Jones and Art Wolfe. My inspiration is God's beautiful creation, and I attempt to record it faithfully, shooting landscapes, flowers, animals, and anything that captures my fancy. I shot film until 2012 when I purchased my first pro digital camera. Now I do both, and do all of the creation in the camera before the snap. If the image isn't good enough to print as taken, it is discarded instead of being "improved" through Photoshop. I have my own darkroom and love making my own prints from negatives. One of my favorite techniques is to hand paint...

Now that is one resourceful tree, I've seen that a lot in moist climates but not desert areas....nice find.
Kathy McClure replied:
You're absolutely right. It is quite rare. I think the flood waters must have washed away the dirt holding the roots and the tree is just too strong to die.
Sharon Eng
