The print is much darker in person. It looks like an underexposed photo and hard to make out any detail on the bottom half of the print. Paper quality is good. Fast shipping.

Completion of the first transcontinental railroad with the Central Pacific Railroad coming from Sacramento, and the Union Pacific Railroad building out from Chicago. The two railroads started the project six years earlier, in 1863.
