A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!
Artist's Description
This was my first painting which I asked to learn the techniques of painting the Nicaraguan Primitive style. Though an imagined scene, the design is very similar to one I have seen as an embroidery of the epoch of the Spanish Conquest of the 1500's. Our first two years in Nicaragua we lived in Chinandega, near the Pacific coast, and found many people still living in thatched roof houses similar to that depicted. I chose the Primitive style because it demonstrates a love for the country, for nature, for the brilliance of colors under a Tropical sun. With Ernesto Cardenal, poet and priest, former Minister of Culture, originated the Primitivista style of painting in his community of Solentiname that was destroyed by the Somoza dictatorship in the early days of the Revolution. This style of painting still continues in Nicaragua.
