I bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. The tuxedo cat painting was beautifully done. The blue and purple background was perfect to showcase the artist rendering of the cat.
The Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest is high in the White Mountains in Inyo County in eastern California. The Bristlecone Pine (Pinus longaeva) trees grow between 9,800 and 11,000 feet (30003400 m) above sea level, in xeric alpine conditions. These long living trees are among the oldest known organisms on earth, some living over 4,000 years.
I am a full-time freelance photographer based out of Los Angeles, specializing in landscapes and nature. I am also the staff photographer at the Los Angeles Zoo and my photography can be seen regularly published in the Zoo Magazine, website and various other marketing materials. With a background in animal behavior and marine biology from UCLA, I had always envisioned myself as a Professor teaching and conducting research, but instead I opted to take a leap of faith and pursue my passion for photography. I am so happy, glad, and proud that it has become a reality.
