This is a fantastic shower curtain. I owned at one time a 1928 American LaFrance almost identical to this one.Loved that fire engine and this great representation is such a joy as a reminder of the one I owned. Nee dmore like this one

Love this shower curtain! It’s brightened our guest bathroom beyond words. We were in Monet’s garden in 2005 and it brings a smile to my face every time I go in there.

This was our first purchase from the site and we love it! It arrived quickly. We wanted something different for the guest bath and this art combined two of my husband's favorite things. The curtain has a quality feel to it and the design is bright I wasn't sure of the color combination at first (orangey red, navy, turquoise and a touch of black) but it works! We've received many compliments and chuckles. My only regret was not being able to fit the words on without using a border - I was unsure of the colors, etc. Bottom line is that we love what we received!!! LOVE it!

She was constructed at a cost of $13.7 million under Title X1 of the Merchant Marine Act of 1970 that allowed companies to build or modernize their fleets with guaranteed government financing and deferring taxes.

She is 680 feet long and has a beam of 78 feet. With a depth of 45 feet she is able to carry 33,800 tons of cargo at a speed of 13 knots.

The William R. Roesch was built in 1973 and cost $12.4M under the management of Kinsman Marine Transit Company. In 1976, she fell under the management of Pringle Transit Company and a year later underwent modifications to her holds.

When Pringle Transit Company dissolved in 1994, Oglebay Norton took over management of the ship and renamed her David Z. Norton. She op...

About Gales Of November

Gales Of November

I developed an interest in photography at a young age, often following my father around while he took pictures. From that I learned the basics and purchased my first camera while still in high school. I learned more through reading and trial and error. My first formal training came in 2013 when I took a basic photography class at a community college. During high school I became fascinated with the freighters that sailed on the lakes. The boats intrigued me and for a time I wanted to work on them. My career took me down a different path, but I never lost my interest in the boats. In 2011 I combined my two interests, loading my camera in my car and chasing the boats around the lakes. I hope to highlight the hardworking ships and...
