My father owns the same truck its the same color and everything and it originally sat in grandfather's garage with a gravel driveway until we pulled it out and rescued it and this photo reminds me of that day cause the garage even looks the same too. I will eventually hang it on my wall im remodeling my living room and ima hang it on my wall when it's done to pay respect to my father who bought me my first home and someday he's leaving this truck to me to carry on its legacy.
I took this photo on Venice Beach at the Venice Pier. This is the lifeguard stand on the pier and the lifeguard's rescue truck -- ready to go when needed. The flag is flying. A special filter was used for this flare of sunlight into a rainbow of colors.
I am a self-taught artist and have been painting in oils for many years. At the same time my photography has developed following the same principles of composition and color.
