Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

This outside staircase at the Villa Rufolo in Ravello, Italy captured my attention. I have my original photo on my website too, because it made a great photo. But I knew I was going to paint it. I wasn't sure which medium as the steps are precise and drawing isn't my favorite thing to do. But I bit the bullet and chose watercolor as I wanted a soft-focused affect. I'm rather happy the way the steps came out. I appreciate the old world feel with the mossy stairs and the holes in the wall. Yet I love the juxtaposition of the newly blooming begonias in the stone "boxes". Looking at this brings back all my memories of this trip.
