Very pleased. I like the deep purple with this image. But, the edge could have been a little sharper.

Almost perfect. Other companies, have the requested picture on both sides of the coffee mug, not just one. Other than that - Perfect. Thank you.

The same. Having a picture on both sides of the mug would be better. Even at a small additional charge. Thank You.

This piece is very true to it's picture very defined. The cup itself is of fine quality as well. The story behind it was beautiful to read. When I look at it, it will take me back to the first time that I saw and read the story. Glad I took the time to purchase. No regrets!

dry bed
it was that iffy time of year
a little green
mostly sere
the sun a pale shadow
of its summer self
spring rains were late
the creek was dead
grey rock exposed
lined with the leavings of winter's winds
the bed as dry as a bitter spinster's heart
i could have lain down
feeling right at home
my bed
lined with the leavings of shattered dreams
just as cluttered and hard as that empty sluice

A dry creek bed in Stratford, Connecticut, filled with leftover autumn, waits for spring rains to fall.

Hello and welcome to my portfolio on Pixels/Fine Art America. One of my major artistic goals, with appropriate images, is to create digital paintings that you wouldn't know were digital unless I told you. If I could paint in oils I would...alas my eyes don't work with my hand, so I create most of my art from photographs that I re-imagine. Few of my digital paintings resemble the original photographs very much when I am finished with my vision. Of course I also create work that is clearly digital as well. Here's a bit about me: RC...

Meg Shearer
You've created beauty out of dead leaves and a sewer. Amazing. I love the rich earth and jewel tones, and the light spots give the scene a sparkle and lightness–not something you'd expect to see. You've made it magic. : ) And your poem is powerful and so beautifully written Gina. Sad, but beautiful. l/f!
RC DeWinter replied:
I look to celebrate the ordinary, Meg, I'm glad you appreciate it too. I appreciate the extravagantly kind encouragement.
