My father owns the same truck its the same color and everything and it originally sat in grandfather's garage with a gravel driveway until we pulled it out and rescued it and this photo reminds me of that day cause the garage even looks the same too. I will eventually hang it on my wall im remodeling my living room and ima hang it on my wall when it's done to pay respect to my father who bought me my first home and someday he's leaving this truck to me to carry on its legacy.

This is a re work of an image I posted some time ago. As we evolve as artists, sometimes we like to go back to old favorite images and give them a new twist. They may be favorites because of subject matter or light or color ... or sometimes just because of the wonderful memories the images themselves evoke. This one represents all those reasons for me.
As I described on the original image, this is a beautiful street in Old Corfu Town, Greece, on a wonderfully hot and sleepy afternoon in July of 2005. Looking closely, you can see the tourists heading our way from down the street while the vendors patiently wait.

Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. Such a beautiful image - the colors, textures and perspective, if we didn't know those were tourists coming up the street it would have a sense of foreboding and mystery, but I guess the tourists are harmless!
