I bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. The tuxedo cat painting was beautifully done. The blue and purple background was perfect to showcase the artist rendering of the cat.
This is a real scene in the Cascade Mt. Range in the state of Washington behind the town of Cle Elum. Its part of several paintings of this area and the town of Roslyn where 'Northern Exposure' was filmed.
I grew up around this region as a kid and still hike and visit the town fairly often.
I love the wilderness areas of this state!
Paul loves to create art by using a variety of techniques and is inspired by an assortment of styles, methods, color and diversity in his artwork. He will often quote: “Variety is the spice of life”.
