This piece is very true to it's picture very defined. The cup itself is of fine quality as well. The story behind it was beautiful to read. When I look at it, it will take me back to the first time that I saw and read the story. Glad I took the time to purchase. No regrets!
We had been seeing warthogs here and there on our safari travels in Zimbabwe but no matter how slowly and stealthily we tried to approach them (how stealthy can you be in a motorized vehicle?), they always dashed off before even the longest lens could catch them. So we were very excited to come upon this warthog whose digging in the mud was far more fascinating than we were worrisome. Even so, it was still a bit skittish but we were lucky to shoot for a few minutes before it was off and running. Warthogs are wild members of the pig family living in sub-Saharan Africa. Their bodies appear hairless from a distance but up close you can see they are covered in bristly hairs. More obviously haired is the crest along the back, and the tufts on their cheeks and tails. They also have very distinct tusks, emerging from the sides of the snout to form a semicircle. The tusks on this warthog were quite small, as were the ‘warts’ on the face.
