Description
The sign tells me that there is danger behind the door and I must keep out! But what danger I wonder.
The Adam-Strain Building in Darien GA was built about 1815-1820. It is the oldest commercial building in Darien, and served as a warehouse in its early years. It survived the burning of Darien by Union forces in 1863. In the late 1800s it was the business site of the merchant, Adam Strain. In the early half of the twentieth century there was a bank in part of the building, but for many years the building has been totally abandoned.

well, as you know I love old doors and this one is making me want to pry those two parts apart and peek inside. Great shot, Andrew.

Nice use of shadows and texture. Looks like you could feel the roughness. I would not want to open that door ... scary.
