I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

Jan Lyons was born in Toronto in 1961. At the age of eleven, she made her first visit to an art gallery, the McMichael Canadian Art Collection in Kleinburg, Ontario. The uniquely canadian landscapes opened her eyes to possibilities and inspired her to begin sketching. It was her father who first helped her with her drawing and it was then she found out that he had dreamed of becoming an artist but never pursued it. Shortly after, her family moved to a small farm in Caledon, Ontario. Picture a young girl, toting sketch pad, pencils and pastels, through pastures and forests, her dog trotting loyally by her side.
