Description

One of my favorite places to go when there are small craft advisories on Lake Michigan - this beach (Otter Creek or sometimes called Esch Road Beach) is such a great subject for painting. The waves can get huge, and they pound and thunder in with a wildness that is exhilarating. The beach is divided by the parallel-running creek, which is visually dynamic, but also can be a nice safety feature children, due to it's shallow and sandy separation from the big lake. Its the best of two worlds!
