Love this duvet cover in the Tree Fort Suite of the Elk View Lodge, Fernie, BC, Canada.
Wildwood Park in all of its beauty did not begin as such and has beginning as Wetzel’s Swamp. In 1901, the City of Harrisburg established Wildwood Lake as part of the City Beautiful movement. Wildwood’s first paths were opened in 1907, a baseball field was created in 1908, and a boating concession was started in 1909. The park underwent many changes and was a source of entertainment during its peak. The depression and resulting financial issues caused changes including the closing of the zoo that was on the premise. Even though the park experienced a decline in the 50s, it was revitalized and continues to thrive today. This image was captured along the three mile hike during an October day.
Growing up in beautiful Cape May, NJ gave me an appreciation for all things nature. Where else can you find white pristine beaches, birds galore, incredible sunsets and as many dolphins as you want. I have always enjoyed taking photos and was encouraged to pursue selling some of my best prints. What started as a hobby is now almost an obsession, one that only brings me joy when capturing a moment of beauty. I hope that you enjoy viewing my photographs as much as I enjoyed taking them!
