I collect travel stamps for a hobby, but when I visited the Noah Webster House in West Hartford Connecticut there was no travel stamp available for my collection booklet so I came across this sticker on your fine website and it is now in my travel stamp booklet under my Noah Webster House visit. It was put to good and joyful use Thank You

"William Carson Mansion" by Thom Zehrfeld
This enormous and, absolutely gorgeous mansion was built by William Carson in 1884 in Eureka, California. It is three stories tall and has eighteen rooms.
The Carson Mansion is considered to be the grandest of the grandest of Victorian homes in America. And, that may be a understatement.
The towers, turrets, porches, gables and superb gingerbread detail bring out how a Victorian home should look like!
This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures to give the image more detail and color. Texture was added for a unique final image.

However, it's not all seascapes...Thom likes capturing automobiles, trucks, motorcycles. And, he travels many places to do just that! He uses mostly color, adding textures and, lately has gone head first into digital painting...giving some photos a dimension that allows for a very unique look. Photography awards include the “McLoughlin Promenade” which is displayed at the Clackamas County Historical Museum in Oregon City. Also, he has won the Springbok National...
