I bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. The tuxedo cat painting was beautifully done. The blue and purple background was perfect to showcase the artist rendering of the cat.

This was a big hit as a gift. The recipients had taken a romantic picture in this locale And now they have a beautiful bag to take with them on their honeymoon.
The riders took time to look at and discuss one of the BIG jumps on the cross country course. The difference between stadium jumping and cross country, is that in stadium jumping if your horse hits the bar (jump) hard enough it will give way and fall down, where as in cross country nothing moves. If the horse does not make the jump you crash, burn, and could even die. Scary thought since this is our daughter and granddaughter.

LOL, I agree Lori. Those that love horses go all out and it would appear that the more dangerous the sport the better they like it. Polo and cross country can be very dangerous. I dont like to think about that part since our daughter and g.daughter do it.

Thank you Fraida and Jan. I gave our daughter and g.daughter a gift for Christmas. I painted white 7 jumps for practice in the jumping paddock at the ranch. Then I painted the colorful stripes on the jump poles. I designed 2 jumps and one in-particular our daughter liked and said they should nail them together so they could not move. When I mentioned I thought you might like them to give way if the horse did not make the jump in the practice arena, her comment was, "In cross country things dont move." Those logs were about 3 wide at the bottom and 3 high. Neither of the riders were at that level in the competition to make jumps that hard.

That's a BIG choice to make!! You'd really have to know your horse on this one! Funny,these horses look like my white mare and chestnut gelding!! You've gotten some great shots Ro!!
