The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

Darren, thank you so so much. I'll tell you a little secret. The black-eyed Susan is growing on one side of the walkway, and the cone flowers are growing on the other. My garden is on a rather steep hill and is terraced, and faces west, so the morning sun is capricious. Behind where I was crouched is a rail-road tie wall. To get this angle, my head and I were backed right up against the wall. As much as I wanted to get the rest of the cone flower into the shot, I just couldn't physically do it (I now have a wide angle lens, lol, but did not at the time). Plus it was VERY hot and i was covered in bugs and sweat (ewwww). The real reason this image sat in my computer for so long was my disappointment that I did NOT get the full cone flower. But as time went on, I began to understand the story the two flowers were trying to tell me. Anyhow. Thank you!!!
