The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. here we have the Yellow-billed Spoonbill, (Platalea flavipes), taken in Port Douglas, Queensland, Australia. A beautiful bird, and the distinctive bill makes them familiar to those who have seen spoonbills in Florida, America, and Europe. This is, of course closely related to these other birds, but restricted to Australia and a rare vagrant in New Zealand. I have been fascinated with these bizarre and curiously beautiful birds since childhood and the bill is adapted to sweeping through mud in ponds, rivers and waterholes to sift out small crustaceans which make up the main part of its diet, often purposely stirring up the mud with its feet to get them moving, and it has special sensors in the beak opening to detect small movements which these give off
