Very pleased. I like the deep purple with this image. But, the edge could have been a little sharper.

Almost perfect. Other companies, have the requested picture on both sides of the coffee mug, not just one. Other than that - Perfect. Thank you.

The same. Having a picture on both sides of the mug would be better. Even at a small additional charge. Thank You.

This piece is very true to it's picture very defined. The cup itself is of fine quality as well. The story behind it was beautiful to read. When I look at it, it will take me back to the first time that I saw and read the story. Glad I took the time to purchase. No regrets!
My subject matter is likely one of the most common forbs (flowers) from the prairie, and can be found anywhere that allows it a seed bed. But I love this plant, no matter how common place it may be. And I look forward to gathering it's seed every fall...man what an amazing smell from a handful of seed! I'll not try and describe it - just try it for yourself some fall.
I called this plant "prairie coneflower" for years, until I was corrected one day, being told it was a "Gray-headed Coneflower" I had the scientific name correct - Ratibida pinnata, but was never keen on gray-headed...just doesn't sound appealing does it? Well several months ago I got my new edition of "Wildflowers of the Tallgrass Prairie" by Runkel and Roosa and the name given it there is "Yellow Coneflower"...I can live with that! :) So I'm titling the drawing "Yellow Coneflowers" and I'll throw in the Ratibida pinnata to boot, making it official and correct.

The photographic landscape is treated in large and medium formats. In painting I prefer a plein air approach and these works are smaller in scale. My work in serigraphy plays upon a more graphic approach of shape, color and line. My interests have always been torn between the camera and the canvas, between birds and the landscape; now particularly the "Prairie". I grew up in the timber of the Des Moines River valley in NW Iowa and later in my life became...

This is my medium of choice these days. Your piece is a beautifully executed drawing. Love the delicate shadows on the petals. Fav.

Thank you Christianna, it is an under-rated medium, can be very difficult to carry out an intended effect at times!
