I purchased the shaggy angora goat on the wood mount for a gift for my neice. Loved how the wood grain comes through on the print. Excellent purchase! Would definitely purchase again.

This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.
Artist's Description
This is a rather unique photo of a natural object, with a 180-degree rotation of the photo creating an optical illusion.
The bark of trees functions as a protective barrier, but it itself is often attacked by insects. They lay their eggs in crevices and the larvae chew their way through the cellulose tissues leaving a gallery of tunnels which you may see in this photo. A rotation of the photo to 180 degrees creates an optical illusion where a convex surface of the tunnels looks like a concave one. To see this you have to look at the matching image Optical Illusion_2A which is in fact the same file with a 180-degree rotation.

About Halyna Yarova
I was born and live in Kyiv (Kiev), Ukraine. I started taking photos when I was 10 years old and my parents gave me my first camera as a birthday present. Though I' m not a professional photographer,I have aspiration, time and chances to enjoy unique moments of life using my camera as a magic mirror that does not just reflect the real world but portrays the inner space of photographer's soul, his or her feelings and character. I believe that great photos come out when these two dimensions , inward and outward, match up.

Thank you, Jack! I think that every person will see the same looking on the image topsyturvy. This is a trick of the human brain.
