SO WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
A unique 'painterly effect' is achieved by the manipulation of Polaroid SX70 Time Zero film. During the development process the image can be manipulated by applying pressure with different tools to the Mylar envelope that encases the image. This pressure and manipulation will cause changes as the chemicals are forming the image.
In order to keep the integrity and uniqueness of the Polaroid film, my prints are set up to be in the same border as the original piece as it is released from the SX70 camera.
I do this for two reasons: The Polaroid look and framing .The size you order is a ratio of an actual polaroid. All of my work was done using the original Time Zero film that was available before 2008.
Note: Some of my work is mixed media. The possibilities: pen and ink, oil, photoshop for lighting, saturation, or removing an unwanted item.
