I am a retired University lecturer, and I have been an avid photographer for some 50 years. My wife and I love to travel. We like to see the US and we have had some wonderful journeys over the past 20 years. We went to Peru and Ecuador where we saw and photographed the plains of Nazca, Machu Picchu, a bit of the Amazon rainforest, and of course, The Galapagos. Less than a year later we spent two weeks driving around England (her birthplace.)
In 2012, we traveled to France. We began in Nice on The Cote d'Azur. Take a look at my panoramic views of the beaches at Cannes and Antibes. The main attraction of this trip was a week on a river cruise ship from Arles to Macon. Later we were able to spend a couple of days in Paris.
In January 2014, we spent more than a week on the Amazon River and its headwaters above Iquitos, Peru. Please check my gallery 'People of the Amazon Rainforest.' Fourteen of these images were on display at El Paso Library's Dorris van Doren Branch as a one man show for two months (June & July 2015.)
My wife and I are members of El Paso Art Association (EPAA.) I have exhibited in several shows organized by EPAA, as well as at The El Paso International Museum of Art. Christine (a painter) and I each had two works in the Hal Marcus Gallery during the 'All You Can Eat' exhibit organized for the benefit of the El Paso Vegetarian Society.
