Carolina Mendez was born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1964. A Photographer, Printmaker and Mix Media Artist. She received her BA from the Metropolitan University in 1988. She studied printmaking with Amber Quimby at the Museum of Art of Fort Lauderdale in the USA, and Documentary Photography with Leo Alvarez and Roberto Mata, Portrait Photography with Ricardo Pena, Color with Cristina Matos-Albers, and Medical-Scientific Photography with Ramon Arispe in Venezuela.
