Hi, my name is Cathi Williams and I live in Grand Marais, MN where my husband and I own a canoe outfitting business (Bear Track Outfitting Co. and resort (Bally Creek Camp) in the Northwoods. I started out as a fashion illustrator during the 70's in Madison, WI when I met and married my husband who was an art teacher. We have been in the outfitting business for 41 years, a great way to make a living and raise kids in the most beautiful corner of the USA on the shores of Lake Superior.
I have been taking photographs for 43 years, but starting to look at it in a different way. I love photo art and discovering all the fun ways you can manipulate photos into works of art on the computer. I also love pure photos, especially portraits of my grandchildren.
We live on a farm as well, so many of my subjects are the four-legged variety. I'm just a simple gal who is interested in way too many things, there aren't enough hours in the day to do all I want to do.
I hope you see something you like among my photos, and digital artwork. Next will come my pottery and watercolors! ...Just don't hold your breath!
