David (Horse) Barringhaus from Maryborough, Queensland, is a photographer who spends six months of the year living and working in Antarctica photographing and building infrastructure for the Australian Antarctic Division. He has a background in boilermaking, fitting and machining in Australian mines and heavy construction.
