Michelle received a BFA in drawing from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York and then headed to California. Among her many occupations, she worked as a scenic painter in the entertainment and trade industries,designed furniture and created a line of playhouses.
Today she combines her love of portraiture and animals by creating uniquely individual pastel pet portraits expressed in her bold, graphic style. Her illustrations have appeared in Modern Dog Magazine. Capturing the essence of her subject and documenting the connection between owner and pet is the inspiration for her whimsical commissioned pet portraits.
